the kdrama Revenant is like the only horror-ish show i watched to completion in recent memory because it was just so good ?? kinda forgot about it until just now. but yeah the plot... the acting! it deals w heavy stuff but was really riveting, so i closed my eyes when i knew a scary / violent scene was coming up lol

trick or treat :D one of my fave horror movies is House of Wax! it's a slasher film from 2005 so I guess it's less scary more shocking, but I think it's fun.

alas i don't really watch scary shows/movies because i get spooked easily 😔 the most i can do are thrillers, of which the battle royale movie is a favorite of mine. i love it in all its campy glory!

lmaoo yeah I have been checking out some kdramas (watched The Glory a couple weeks back) so I know they're good with their horror/psychological stuff. Doesn't seem like it's streaming anywhere I can watch though :c

I don't really watch much horror so I'll repeat the rec I made on someone else's post: Seijun Suzuki's taisho trilogy! They are more like surreal dramas, but they have a very eerie vibe (plus ghosts).

I don't have netflix unfortunatly but uh... I think netflix had 呪 (Incantation), which I liked :O. If you haven't seen that one, its pretty decent in its set up.

I recommend... idk honestly. I just recently watched a trailer for cold storage. Its apparently a horror comedy with Liam Neeson coming out next year that I really want to watch.. sorry its not an anime but seeing Liam Neeson in a horror comedy movie might be interesting. .

I'm not much of a horror watcher but I did just watch The Cabin in the Woods and it was fun, assuming you haven't seen it yet it's like 15 years old lol. Lisa Frankenstein is much more recent and very good, it's a rom-com about a teen girl in the '80s and her relationship with a reanimated Victorian-era corpse. It's got that fun Heathers vibe haha.

Trick or treat! I don't watch a lot of spooky things... I guess I would follow Lenga's recommendation though, and say that the Twilight Zone holds up really well, there's a lot of stories that have been adapted in future stuff, so it's pretty neat to see where some of the horror classics came from!
